Ji Hong Min

Chairman of Asia Broadcast Satellite (ABS) & Managing Director for Citigroup Venture Capital International (CVCI)

Ji joined CVCI in 2003 after 11 years at Goldman Sachs spanning a career in New York, Hong Kong and Seoul, Korea, where he most recently headed Goldman's private equity efforts. In Asia since 1996, Ji led and executed a number of M&A and financing transactions before joining Goldman's private equity group in 1999. Ji was a key member of Goldman's team working on their $530 million investment into Kookmin bank and the successful exit. Since joining CVCI, Ji has led or co-led several transactions in a variety of industries including financial, energy, technology, power, IT services, retail and cable. Ji received his B.A. degree from Harvard College and an M.B.A. from Columbia University. He is a native speaker of both Korean and English.

Thomas Choi

Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Asia Broadcast Satellite (ABS)

Thomas Choi is a satellite entrepreneur with over 18 years of experience in the Satellite and Aerospace industry. He is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Asia Broadcast Satellite Limited (ABS). Prior to ABS, Tom founded Speedcast, a valued added satellite service company that is a joint venture between AsiaSat. He spent more than five years as a business development executive at Hughes Communications International, and served as a technical staff member at Rockwell International. He has a MBA and B.S. in Aerospace Engineering both from the University of Southern California.

Chikara Okada

Director of Citigroup Venture Capital International (CVCI)

Chikara has been with CVCI since 2003 in its Hong Kong and Tokyo offices. Prior to CVCI he was with Broadview International (now Jeffries Broadview) where he was last based in its Silicon Valley office as a Vice President in its TMT mergers and acquisitions practice. Previously, he has held positions with JP Morgan & Co and Coopers & Lybrand as a technology consultant. He graduated with an AB from the University of California, Berkeley.

Christopher Botsford

Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer of ADM Capital

Christopher Botsford is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of ADM Capital and a member of ADM Capital's Investment Committee. Before establishing ADM Capital, Chris ran the Asia-Pacific regional debt and derivatives operation for Republic National Bank of New York. In 1995, he was a founding board member of the Asian arm of the International Swaps and Derivatives Association, the self-governing body for the derivatives industry. Chris holds a Master's degree in Engineering from Downing College, Cambridge University, England. He has lived in Asia for 13 years.

Robert Wardrop

Co-CEO of Belvall Capital SA

Bob is Co-CEO of Belvall Capital SA a Luxembourg-based specialty finance business providing debt financing to European mid-sized companies.

Mr. Wardrop, started his career in Brand Management with Procter & Gamble Canada in 1979. From 1982 to 1991 he was the founder and CEO of Digital Media Networks, a Canadian company that provided satellite data services to retailers across the US and Canada. After moving to Europe in 1991 he spent the next eight years leading business development and project finance assignments on behalf of European companies engaged in satellite-related projects. From 2000 to 2009 he was Managing Director of Anschutz Investment Company overseeing private equity investments in Europe.

Bob is a Canadian with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) degree from Queen's University in Canada, and an MBA from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Chicago.
