Subic Space Center (SSC) (Acquired from Mabuhay Satellite Corporation) is a pioneer satellite communications facility in the Philippines providing tracking, telemetry and control for ABS-5 in geostationary orbit. It provides satellite control, satellite orbit determination and prediction, on-station operations and payload and client monitoring. The facility is staffed by highly trained personnel and engineers working on a 24/7 operating schedule

The Technical Assistance Center (TAC) is responsible for monitoring the operation and utilization of ABS-5 transponders to ensure they are operating within nominal power level.

Munich Teleport International (MTI) (Germany)

Munich Teleport International (MTI) is a satellite uplink facility in Germany that is capable of providing satellite services over 9.3m and 7.3m C-band operation as well as Ku-band via multiple antennas. It has twenty-six (26) Rx antennas for Ku-band from 2m to 8m in dish diameter. The antenna farm has satellite visibility from 75° East to 58° West. MTI’s earth station facility has 24×7 operations and is equipped with MPEG2 and MPEG4, Standard Definition and High Definition encoding and decoding-systems.

MTI is capable of offering video distribution and contribution to provide wider and broader audience. MTI is a Class 3 license holder of Germany’s “Regulatory of Telecommunications” and also offers signal management for multiple TV broadcasters and optical fiber networks. The Teleport is very well connected to international fiber networks.
