ABS selects the SPACECONNECTION, Inc. as the prime occasional use service provider

Hong Kong, 1 June 2007 - Asia Broadcast Satellite (ABS) announced today that The SPACECONNECTION Inc., of North Hollywood California, USA, the industry's leading independent space segment provider, has been selected as its prime Occasional Use (OU) service provider. The SPACECONNECTION will provide ABS with industry-leading online booking services and with dedicated scheduling staff to support OU access to the ABS-1 satellite. Located in the prime Indian Ocean region at 75°E, the ABS-1 satellite provides outstanding C-band and Ku-band coverage, connecting Asia, Australia, the Indian Subcontinent, CIS, Middle East, Europe and Africa covering 4/5th of the world's population.
