Internet Connectivity (IPLC)
The ABS-1 satellite, with its extensive coverage and large capacity (both Ku and C band), is ideal for supporting IP and data services. IP sources are provided in a load sharing and/or dedicated configuration to increase Link Reliability in between various interconnections:
2-way Asymmetric / Duplex IP Process
2-way Asymmetric VSAT is an asymmetric Internet routing platform. The IP data is time-multiplexed with the telephony data, which allows instantaneous phone calls and Internet browsing. IP access is passed without occupying a phone line. The assigned hub transmits to a hi-speed outbound carrier containing IP data while VSAT's transmit to an inbound carrier. The VSAT acts as a router thus provide connection of more than one PC. Ethernet port at the VSAT is used for PC connectivity. Using this solution, Internet enabling technologies such as TCP spoofing and Internet Page Acceleration are integrated to guarantee user satisfaction.
